HiveWeaver orchestrates thousands of autonomous AI agents — as a synthetic world that answers your questions, or as a real workforce that runs your processes. Every decision recorded, every real action gated, every run reproducible.
HiveWeaver will ship as open source (Apache 2.0) with Docker images and a CLI — the release is in preparation. Questions in the meantime? We're happy to answer them through the contact form.
One platform, three operating modes
Same agents, same personas, same memory — only the side-effect layer changes. Promoting a simulation to production is one line in the manifest, not a rewrite.
Explore without risk
Simulation
A synthetic world with no real-world side effects: opinion dynamics with 5,000 citizens, prediction markets with 10,000 traders, campaign pre-mortems. Tools with side effects are automatically replaced by plausible mocks.
Do real work
Live
Agents work against real systems: email, tickets, pull requests, broadcast operations. Approval gates before irreversible actions, a hard budget cap, an append-only audit log — governance is an engine feature, not an afterthought.
Simulate, then act
Hybrid
Run 1,000 strategies overnight and execute the best one in the morning — after human sign-off. If no variant clears the confidence bar, nothing executes. The calm, evidence-backed alternative to "just run it and hope".
Not promised. Measured.
agents on one laptop
10,000agents on one laptopA crowd-estimation experiment with 10,000 agents — measured model cost: around 3 cents for a run, free with a local model.
radio station, no human host
24/7radio station, no human hosthiveweaver.fm runs around the clock, live — hosted, scheduled and fact-checked by agents.
from product vision to merged code
~15 minfrom product vision to merged codeA complete autonomous dev department — product owner, architect, developers, reviewer, merger — in a compact PoC: from an empty world to a verified result, proven by a fresh git clone and a green test suite.
sample scenarios
37sample scenariosFrom a two-agent hello-world to a full development department — all in the repository, ready to run.
Not a flowchart. A workforce.
Classic workflow tools hard-wire processes as if/else graphs. In HiveWeaver, the flow emerges from agent decisions — from personas, goals, tools and the places where they meet.
Coordination is a role, not a machine
The product owner, the arbiter, the editor-in-chief — all agents with context, tools and a job. Delegation, follow-ups and escalation are directed events, not wiring.
Sleeping agents cost nothing
A watchdog that only reacts to one specific event burns zero tokens and zero compute between events. That is what makes richly staffed specialist teams affordable.
Deterministic where possible, LLM where necessary
Rules and math run as code; the model produces content, never control flow — unless you want it to. Most decisions cost no LLM call at all.
The building blocks
A scenario is a declarative file: world, population, rules, questions. The engine never changes per scenario.
A publicly audible 24/7 radio station: a broadcast schedule, host duos with organic handovers, hourly news grounded in real sources — and a fact-checker that has flagged live.
Product owner, architect, developers, reviewer — coordinated through real tickets and real pull requests. The result: a product that tests green from a fresh clone.
Policies decide what passes — humans decide the rest, with escalation chains and deadlines.
Hard budget cap
Enforced before every model call, not reconciled afterwards. A $15 cap is $15.
Append-only audit
Every real action with mode, cost, approval and trace id — the causal chain stays reconstructible.
Deterministic replay
Recorded responses are replayed, never re-executed — no model is asked twice.
Tenant isolation
Two independent enforcement layers, tenant-bound encryption — the tenant id never travels on the wire.
GDPR erasure
Article-17 deletion including cryptographic key destruction is implemented, not planned.
The best proof is already running
The 24/7 radio station is our public showcase — listen in once you've seen what's behind it. HiveWeaver itself will ship as open source with Docker images and a CLI; we're preparing the release right now.
